This necklace was designed and created by R. Jeffrey Dunnington of Designs In Gold in Houston, Texas. The necklace contains a Rainbow Hematite center stone with a graduated line of multi-color round sapphires that echo the brilliant colors of the Rainbow Hematite. The 14k yellow gold design loops over a 5 millimeter round mesh chain and down around the center stone. The sapphires are channel set in a Platinum inlay.

This design competed with the other States Best of Show winners in January of 1999 at the Jewelers of America Show in New York City and by popular vote was awarded The Best of Show.
